TANKSLEY is an artist, songwriter, musician, and producer of sound that blends soul, hip-hop, and rock influences. His eclectic taste in music is echoed in his raspy vocals and effortless falsetto. This melodic, self-taught multi-instrumentalist was born in Syracuse NY, and started taking music seriously during high school as a means of escape and self-expression. Currently, he is based on the east coast. 
 TANKSLEY can always be found spending countless hours in the studio practicing and exploring new avenues of music. The eccentricity and perfectionism in his creativity flow into his live performances. The artist loves performing live because of the “give and take from the crowd.” He says that they help “take the songs to new places” because every time there’s different people who affect how he interprets and shapes the sound. 
 TANKSLEY has already headlined at numerous universities, musical festivals, private events, the New York State Fair, and shared the stage with Grammy award-winning artist Lalah Hathaway. You may have also caught him at venues in NYC such as Webster Hall, Toshi’s, the legendary Minton’s Playhouse in Harlem, The Groove, or Nublu NYC.
