Scorched Moon first formed in 2012, taking influence from Progressive rock and metal bands like Rush, Coheed And Cambria, Ayreon, and Dream Theater to write conceptual, sci-fi driven albums. After a few line up changes and a decade of struggle, tenacity, and persistence, their debut record, Obsidia, is finally coming to fruition. The band's long time friend Alex Parra, Guitarist of Paladin and Sadistic Ritual, is handling mixing and mastering, and he is bringing the tracks, engineered and produced by Scorched Moon's drummer Jade Edge, a whole new life.
