We are currently keeping things going by writing more songs and look to release singles and E.P.'s. The band started in 2000 as a side project for two local veteran players: Brian Lehfeldt (Sweaty Nipples, Everclear) and Keith Brown (TV:616/Threscher). The two pounded out tribal beats over electro synth beds, creating an aesthetic one fan described as "taiko on crack!". Drumattica quickly blossomed into a full-fledged band. Floater front-man, Robert Wynia, was the first to join the line-up, adding his distinctive vocals and complex, literary lyrics. A few serendipitous guest appearances by Jen Folker (vocalist for Portland's electronica darlings, Dahlia) cemented her place in the permanent line-up. Their live shows finally culminated in the release of their first album "A Part of Something" in 2003. After five years of wildly popular live performances, Drumattica released the much anticipated follow-up, "Train Out of Time" 2008
