Luca Gemma is an italian indie-pop-rock singer and songwriter based in Milan, Italy. Started his career in the 90’s with a indie-rock band, Rosso Maltese. 350 concerts, 2 albums, opening acts for Billy Bragg, Tito Puente, Caetano Veloso. He has been writing lots of songs for italian pop singers (Fiorella Mannoia, Malika Ayane), indie singers (Patrizia Laquidara, Bobo Rondelli), movie soundtracks (Sud Side Stori by Roberta Torre, Venice Film Festival 2000) and for national radio, tv and theatre productions. He had then a lasting collaboration with Steve Piccolo ( from the New York band Lounge Lizards), a tour and an album together in 2004. As solo artist with his band (voice, gtr, bass, drums, brass) he released 5 albums in italian – from 2004 to the last one, out in 2017, La Felicità di Tutti, with which he won an important prize for italian Canzone d'autore – and one in english in 2015. Always touring in Italy (also opening Blonde Redhead, Archive, Paolo Nutini, Donavon Frankenreiter) and France, played also in festivals in England and Luxemburg. In 2016 the promotional Australian tour for his album in english Blue Songs took place. Two more songs were published on digital platforms in pandemic year 2020, Prima di Parlare and Elettro Domestico. Now, on 2022, October 7, it is finally time to listen to the new album, Fantastiche visioni. Hope you enjoy it!
