Jessica was born in Hutchinson, Kansas in 1967, She started her musical journey in 1977 when she was just ten years old on the trumpet. She continued playing the trumpet all the way into High School. She played in marching band, pep band, Jazz band, and played the flugelhorn in a trumpet octet where she scored high marks. After High School she stopped playing the trumpet to pursue guitar. After about one year she joined her first band in Hutchinson Kansas Wizeaxe which played cover songs from Hair Bands at the time. In 1992 She moved to Douglasville Georgia where she formed the band Mantis, Mantis played in a few Battle of the Bands in the Atlanta area, and they also wrote and recorded a number of songs. Because of life at the time Mantis came to an end but their spirit lives on. In 1999 Jessica moved to Oklahoma City where she continued the guitar and formed the 80s cover band Retrospekt where She doubled on lead and Rhythm guitars. She was in Retrospekt for about 3 years and then later parted. After Retrospekt she put the guitar to rest for a few years to pursue the piano, She currently composes Classical, and Pop style music. Jessica picked the trumpet back up in 2015 and has had some success. She plays at music festivals in the Oklahoma City area, and has a Christmas album A Classical Christmas out now featuring the piano. She also has songs featuring the trumpet. Jessica is available for weddings, get together's and concerts.
