Råskog is a Swedish freerock band from Bohuslän. It's all about having fun and going where the music takes you. Bands' former name was Berg. Their first album, 'Allt är skrot', was released in 2011. A very produced sound and refined tunes compared to the bands later endevours. The highlight track is 'Full City'. The second album, 'Rädd under bron' (2012), contains more loose and jam based music with long improvisational excursions. Third album in 2014 was 'Pickles in the Pocket', with dark, loomy music with linguering rage and obscenity. The titel song features a provocational rap about hard alcohol consumption. The bands obsession with alcohol and rock poetry is also evident on the 'wine singels', featuring their friend and artist @Peter Boije. Their fourth album, 'Powder blue wig', on which the band is exploring the native american psyche, was released on September 11th, 2020. About the album: "The band works as few contemporaries and has a raw and unbrushed character to their sound. The rhythm session works together in a loose and playful way but still, the bass and drums hold the songs tight together. Sudden percussive surprises contribute to the bubbly groove but the songs are still deeply rooted in the bottom of Råskogs musical swamp". The band has been discribed as "authentic-sounding practitioners" with their music having a "closely-miced, immersive, one-take feel" to it.
