Effortlessly harnessing their indie-pop youth with a breath of fresh air, the Toronto-based trio — Brendan DiStefano [singer], Shane Penhale [guitar], and Josh Podolak [drums, programming] — not only envision where they aspire to be, but collectively carry an established artistic history that placed them together today. Being no strangers to JUNO-nominated songwriter/producer Derek Hoffman (Arkells, Ralph, The Trews), Navigate the Sky recorded their debut EP, "Small Talk", during the spring of 2018. Throwback 808 drum machines, vintage synthesizers, and dreamy delay guitar samples filled the pre-production room, perfectly capturing the group's upbeat personality. Fast forward two years, six songs later, the group has now amassed over 1 million streams worldwide, and shared the stage with today's brightest acts such as Tokyo Police Club, Virginia To Vegas, Honors, Tyler Shaw, Neon Dreams, and many more. Constant collaboration and identity groundwork lead the trio down a new path to begin self-production on 2020 debut, Something Different and latest single, Is It Just Me?. Finding who you are can be tough in today's generation, yet the boys arrive fashionably into the music scene with substance and spirits sure enough to blossom stupendously.
