    From the Ground Up was formed in 2014 by Trevor Datzko, Bruce Lowrie, and Tylor Kohn from Standish Michigan. Combining fast punk rock with groovy metal to make catchy in your face music. The Consciousness EP was released in 2015, and What's Kraken? the first full length album was released in May of 2017. FTGU currently plays shows in the local music scene of Saginaw and Bay City.
