Michael O. is a singer, songwriter, performer and producer who harnesses his personal and cultural influences to create a powerful sound all his own. 
 Born in New York City and raised in Portland, Maine, Michael’s upbringing fused Nigerian, African American, and American cultures to create the multi-faceted artist he is today. 
 In 2011, Michael led his college acapella group, The Dartmouth Aires, to a second place finish on NBC’s “The Sing Off”. With over 6.5 million viewers weekly, Michael wowed audiences and was even dubbed “incredible” and “timeless” by Ben Folds of Ben Folds Five, and “a freaking superstar” by Boyz II Men’s Shawn Stockman. 
 In 2013, Michael released his first EP, “In the Beginning”. Within 24 hours of its official release, “In the Beginning” jumped to the top 5 on the iTunes R&B charts, and remained the best-selling EP in Northern New England for that entire year. 
 In 2015, Michael starred in the major motion picture, Pitch Perfect 2. Featured on the soundtrack, he won an American Music Award for best soundtrack. 
 Michael is also the featured vocalist on tracks with acclaimed artists such as Flex Cop, Option4, and Gladiator. 
 Michael has performed all over the world, including sold-out shows at Merrill Auditorium, The Lincoln Center, and in 2014, sang for President Obama at the White House. 
 In November 2017, Michael won the HAPA Award for Best Upcoming Artist for his record, Your Way.
