Strange Weather is the experimental-pop project of singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Sean Brennan. In their bones, the songs are timeless classics, embodied as romantic psychedelia – cinematic daydreams with echoes of Talking Heads, Roxy Music, Pink Floyd, Arcade Fire, Fela Kuti, and Esquivel. In 2023, Strange Weather has begun releasing The Fool's Journey, one song per month. With each new chapter, the story of The Fool unfolds and evolves. The album, like a deck of tarot cards, is a parade of archetypes. Each song inhabits its own genre, while driving the story forward. In one minute you find yourself in an Indian garden, warbling with tablas, the next you're in the throes of 90s rock glory. Like any psychedelic journey, there will be unexpected twists and turns, challenges and rewards, laughter and tears.
