Биография

Dark synth-pop artist from San José, Costa Rica. Influenced by darkwave, synth-pop and industrial music. "Unshadow", the debut album by Mavroskeleto, was released in January, 2017. The artist started working on the album in early 2014 after experimenting for a few years with dark electronic and industrial sounds. The original version of the album (never released) was scrapped entirely and later re-recorded with new equipment, giving birth to newer songs like "Psycho" and "La Eterna". The title refers to exposing oneself, getting rid of the shadows; this concept was the plot for the music videos created for this era: "My Strangler" (acknowledgment of the shadows), "Psycho" (coming to terms) and "Son" (liberation). In September, 2019, Mavroskeleto released the music video for the song "On the Tracks", an introduction to his second album "Biomachine" (November, 2019). This album maintains the dark essence of the previous one but it´s predominated by a sadder tone. "Maligno" is the third album by the artist and the first one completely written in Spanish. It was released in February, 2022, and was described by Mavroskeleto as "somber, minimalist, industrial and at times danceable". Later that year, the artist composed and produced the music for the science fiction theater play titled "La Visita del Exilio", which premiered that September in Heredia, Costa Rica. Other main releases are "The Warlock" (2018 EP) and "Earthly Hymns" (2020 EP).
