California-based singers, songwriters, and multi-instrumentalists Ben Schulze and Cameron Zirbel form the indie-rock duo buddybuddy. They originally met in their hometown of Carlsbad, California, in 2013. 
 Crazed by their infatuation with The Shins and Randy Newman's peculiar, off-beat style, it was obvious the two shared a similar taste for songwriting. 
 buddybuddy finds solace in their transparent songwriting as it adheres to no theme. buddybuddy is a reminder to not take things too seriously.
