Paris-based Dj/Producer Hello, and thank you for dropping by :) I must admit that it seems odd to invoke music with words because music exists to express what words cannot. But since you're here, I'll try to summarize it. I grew up in Paris listening to r&b, hip hop, and house music, particularly French house. My first romantic feelings were sparked in nightclubs by Daft Punk, Cassius, the Neptunes & J Dilla. God knows how essential first emotions are—you never want to forget them and want to relive them forever—so I combined all of these influences and made music so that its sentiments would never die, would never leave me, and could be shared with you to make them even more true. I named my genre Dilla House since everything has to be labeled and structured, but like all classifications, it has its limits. Another significant fact was that I spent my childhood vacation in a beach house in Corsica that used to be a nightclub owned by my family. It closed before I was born for obscure reasons, but its mythology has followed me my whole life and possibly inspired my hunt for the ultimate dancefloor. Holla at me on Instagram (@moseyofficial).
