Voicing the needs, desires and vices of the 20- something person from the big city, he is the modern rap sound of urban Mumbai. Exploring adult topics with a calm grace is what Shuman became known for through his sophomore EP ‘Asar’. The project connected with the ambitious intentions and Hinglish speech of young adults. Mixing Trap drums, acoustic guitars, nature samples and water-like flows, Shuman comes off as the smoothest guy around.
