Auto-Tuned melodies, distinctive vocals, wild production choices, and clever, scene-stealing bars are all highlights of Los Angeles, California-based rapper Dori's captivating style. Viral online attention and acknowledgment from a collaboration with the $uicideboy$ exposed Dori to the world as a unique, dedicated artist. Having known and collaborated with Dominic Fike before his rise to fame in 2018, and befriending Lil Peep online around 2015, Dori learned a lot about the creative process that comes with modern music. Dori was born Elija Ramos in 1996. He began releasing music around 2013, taking notes from rising underground artists such as Bones, Yung Lean, Nguvo, and many others. His father Santos put him on to old school hip-hop and R&B as a child. He started out using the moniker Yung Dori, but shortened it to Dori in 2022.
