Биография

Formed in 2019, led by Sosuke Oikawa formerly of CICADA with 6 members of different ages, careers and backbones. Kevin’s (Vocalist) outstanding expressive ability is fully expressed and aims to create the best pop music with simplicity, valuing soul music-like songs from the 60’s and 70’s. The band uses one house in Tokyo called, “Roomies House” as the base for the band, where the members and musical friends gather for jam sessions and recordings. In September 2019, they performed a two-man show with Hiro-a-key at Wall & Wall in Omotesando, Tokyo. They sold out their first live performance show. December 17th, 2021, 1st Album “The Roomies” is released on digital platforms. The album is included in many official playlists and gathers attention from listeners from Japan and abroad. 2019年、元 CICADAの及川創介を中心に、年齢、キャリア、バックボーンが異なる6人で結成。Vo. Kevinの卓越した表現力を全面に打ち出し、60～70年代のソウル・ミュージックのような歌を大切にしたシンプルで最高のポップスを目指す。東京都内の1軒屋「Roomies House」をバンドの拠点とし、メンバーや音楽仲間が集まり、ジャム・セッションやレコーディングを行う。2019年9月、表参道・Wall&Wallにて、Hiro-a-keyと2マン・ライブを敢行。初ライブにしてチケットを完売させる。2021年12月17日、1st Album『The Roomies』を配信リリース。多数の公式プレイリストにセレクトされ、国内外のリスナーから注目を集めている。
