Биография

Le Blonde, the Brooklyn based indie duo of Eric Stamile and Audi Martel, received much attention when they debuted their first single, “Sisters of the Moon” (Fleetwood Mac cover) and their original song “The Voices” for Carolina Herrera’s Spring 2013 Show at New York Fashion Week. This led to Colette Paris choosing Le Blonde’s “Sisters of the Moon” to open their Best of Fashion Week compilation, Sound of The Season Vol. 2, alongside Depeche Mode, David Lynch, Kraftwerk, Grimes, etc. The following season, fashion designer, Bibhu Mohapatra’s used Le Blonde’s, “Peacock” and “Let it Burn,” for his Spring 2014 Collection at New York Fashion Week, which consequently led to a front-page feature on iTunes (typically unheard of for an unsigned band), a write up by MTV for Behind the Runway Music, and a remix of “Crazy” for Au Revoir Simone. Recognized for their haunting Lynchian sound, the duo was commissioned to compose the Grammy-aired teaser for A&E’s Hitchcockian television series, Bates Motel. In 2016 Vogue magazine used “The Voices” in their “Alfred Hitchcock Blonde” beauty video story featuring Elsa Hosk, and their single, “Heart of Fire”, was licensed for Philosophy cosmetics. Most recently, Le Blonde’s music was featured in the Drake Dormus’ Sci-fi flick “Zoe” (2018) starring Ewan McGregor and Lea Seydoux which was the headlining film at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival, and in the 2019 Charles & Keith Campaign featuring Hailey Beiber.
