Though Khalil Ismail is a world-class Hip Hop, and RnB artist (search "Khalil Ismail" for that music ), his faith influences him strongly. His desire to both address issues within his faith, show people how its made him a better person, and explain things in a palatable way to non-muslims who may not know much about islam led him to create the “soul” series which is more overtly dedicated to islamic song. He has released two albums in this series and is working on his third. Khalil Ismail has shared the stage with the most popular islamic acts including Maher Zain, Zain Bhikha, Deen Squad, Native Deen, Dawud Wharnsby and more!
