Named after ancient lords of Middle-earth, Heathen Kings bring new blood to old lore, re-forging the metal world anew. With soaring vocals, virtuosic guitar, and a rhythm section built for war, Heathen Kings come to sing songs of fantasy, history and the conflicts of the gods. Forged in Suffolk UK In 2020 they exist for a single purpose, to fight along side the modern titans of metal, (Visigoth, Grand Magus, Blind Guardian, Sumerlands, Eternal Champion, Unto Others) yet ever will they work under the watchful eyes of the old gods (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Black Sabbath). 'In the Hall of the Kings', Their debut single was released on May 28th 2021. 'In The Hall of the Kings' takes you to Middle-earth, to the battle of Helm's Deep and into the darkest thoughts of a king besieged. The hour is dark and his need is great. Will king Theoden's final desperate charge prevail? Will Rohan's forces rally to his aid? They will ride out and meet their foe, but do they ride to death? or to victory! On 27th June 2021 Heathen Kings released the single 'A Song For Denethor' Followed by The Heart Of The Mountain Horde on July 30th Returning to Middle-earth, to Minas Tirith, 'A Song For Denethor' laments the last days of a once noble lord, whose will is broken. 'The Heart of The Moutain Horde' carries the listener to Erebor, where an ancient sickness wreathes a glittering horde, and where pride, it is said, can burn hotter than dragons-fire.
