Like a fresh ocean breeze from the nordic coast, Evelyn Mali presents her unique sound of folktronica. Her origin from the Helgeland coast and nature of northern Norway is with her in the music. The lyrics that are presented on Evelyn Malis Norwegian dialect, are supported by the big and soaring nordic electronic sound with synths, drums and soundscaping. Evelyn Mali has been well received in Norway by the biggest broadcasting channel NRK. The radio channels NRK p1 and p3 have both promoted her with premiers and playlist placement, interviews and a entry as the weekly artist. The song "Gammelt Hus" fronted NRK's winter sports campaign on both tv and radio, and she was also named Ukas Urørt (This Weeks Untouched) by NRK p3. Evelyn Mali has also received international attention with the song «Ishav» and gained airplay at Kringvarp, among others. Earlier this year she released the EP "Undertona Av Uvær" which received good criticism and attention from both fans and the press. In addition to the release she’s been touring Norway with both the band and doing smaller acoustic shows.
