RT is originally from London, he spent some time with family in New York, before spending time with relatives in Africa before coming full circle back to live in the UK. While growing up RT was exposed to many music types, by virtue of his surroundings and living within different environments. 
 RT grew up with a passion for music and knew it was something he wanted to pursue. His stage name is RT, it stands for Real Time because time changes, but consistency is the key so he tries to stay consistent," The rising Star wants to take his music and sound to another level, and likes the Urban Music scene. He wants to reach people across national borders with his music, while influencing and connecting with them at the same. 
 RT is a producer/singer song writer. His talent is varied he is very versatile with his sound and he likes to blend many different sounds and influences into his music. 
 RT loves the current Urban music scene, but also recognizes the talent historically. He said his biggest influences are Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Jay-Z, Nas, Dr. Dre, Notorious BIG, and 2PAC," RT said. He has used these idols as inspiration to turn his own music into something special.
