paper space is an indie rock band from modesto, ca. songwriter max basso formed the band in 2014 along with bassist miles ishmael and multi-instrumentalist curtis walls, who also record and produce the bands music. drummer stevie lira entered the fold in 2018, and paper space self-released their first album Split in Half in March 2019. the short album is comprised of songs written between 2014 and 2017 and displays the young group's many influences including lyrically focused, minimalist bedroom indie and the hook-conscious power-pop of the 90's. currently, paper space are working to create their follow-up album, and with it hope to showcase a more focused effort than ever before.
