In autumn 2005, after playing for different bands, wich however rolled in the same circuit, touring the whole Europe during these years and sharing stages with bands like TEN FOOT POLE and @FOUR SQUARE, decided to create A PLACE IN THE SUN. A “poppy fast” sound overseas, rooted in Europe for these four guys who grew up principally with the historic 90's bands,like @FACE TO FACE, @DESCENDENTS ,@FOO FIGHTERS. in the summer of 2006 they recorded their first album @LEAVING HOME which was immediately appreciated by INYA FACE/CR JAPAN. In spring 2007 they sign with the label,taking part of their rooster with bands as @ALKALINE TRIO,@RANDY,@FRENZAL RHOMB, @DUNCAN'S DIVAS and the album was release in Japan.Two important collaborations came out, with Simon head ,singer of Canadian band FOUR SQUARE and tour manager of @SUM 41 from 1999 to 2001, who sang in the album, and Matt Fuzzo, bass player of Californian band @BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME, who made two remixes of their songs. Following the release,the guys started an European tour in Belgium, Germany and Luxemburg. Meanwhile the band signed with BAGANA RECORDS-EDEL/SONY. The album was released in Italy and Europe in May 2009.After the good success of "Leaving home" with the singles of @Happy and @Moves and movies in radio, and the video of the last one in rotation in tv channels as ALL MUSIC,MTV and the massive live activities during these years,in April 2010 they take part with Simon Head at the european tour of @SUM 41.
