Love Via Dance Machine first emerged in the fall of 2008 in the dorm rooms of Berklee College Of Music, in Boston, MA. Formed by four friends drawn together by their love for pop anthems in a sea of "sophisticated musicians". Throughout the early 2010's the band made their mark, selling out legendary New England venues like Showcase Live and Middle East Downstairs, touring with acts like We The Kings and Drake Bell, and features in outlets such as J-14, TigerBeat, PopStar Magazine! among others. As LVDM were just on the cusp, inner turmoil led the band to call it quits in 2013, with the members going their own way. Now, after more than seven years away, 2020 has come and LVDM has returned. This time, with a new found sense of gratitude, a new drive, and brand new energy. "I Like Being Lied To" was written by the band in the summer of 2020 and produced by Rob Freeman (who's credits include Gym Class Heroes & Cobra Starship). The song draws influences from all over the map, with pop hooks, blues guitar, and electronic elements. This is part of several new singles being released into 2021. It's been a long road, but for Love Via Dance Machine, this is just the beginning.
