Vocalist, Composer, and Oud Master Dhafer Youssef was born in 1967 in Teboulba, Tunisia. The oud is an Arabic lute, a string instrument that can achieve a beautiful sound from those who know how to master it. Dhafer Youssef has released 9 successful albums in 24 years. The Oud Master has released his 9th album "Street of Minarets" on January 27th, 2023 with: Herbie Hancock, Marcus Miller, Vinnie Colaiuta, Dave Holland, Nguyên Lê, Rakesh Chaurasia, Ambrose Akinmusire & Adriano Dos Santos Tenorio.
