Witty lyrics, catchy melodies, glittery fashion, and a booty for days: John Levengood has the whole package. Growing up in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and gaining musical inspiration from the likes of Shania Twain and Britney Spears, John was never destined to fit in with the other boys. While John liked to think he knew it all, it seemed everyone around him knew he was gay much earlier than he did. It’s this naivety and the ability to laugh at himself that makes John so endearing to most. John brings upbeat pride anthems like Say Gay! with a focus on justice, equality and danceability. He has recently gotten involved in advocacy work with Equality Virginia to fight anti-LGBTQ+ legislation in Virginia and wants to inspire others to do the same in their state & local governments. In 2022, John has shared the stage with artists Bryce Bowyn, Zach Benson, Jline, NYTE SKOOL
