Psalmer is the main entity behind NXT MZK, working towards becoming a label of sorts, nursing and developing artists to explore different genres of music specially genres the youth love to consume. Even from his youth, his passion for music and the arts had been seen as his role as a band leader at a very young age was already established. Along with that, a collection of placings and podium finishes in songwriting competitions to his name, even earning a place in music production for tv and media for a time. This carried over into his adulthood, working as a musical director in a number of churches. Here he has dedicated a huge chunk of his time to write, compose, arrange, produce, and direct 5 CCM(Contemporary Christian Music)albums and 2 secular albums. He also produced, arranged and written songs for indie artists. Nowadays, he works in tandem with his son, and aspiring artist Hans Pagalan as they venture further into the world of music starting with Hans's first single "I AM" followed by "Naliligaw", "Gimme A Call", "Hiraya Manawari", "Sulyapan" and "Tete-a-tete". Watch out for "Ligaya" due this coming month of June.
