The sound of LIPKA is unique. It transcends boundaries to form a harmonious mesmerized community of followers outside of the mainstream. LIPKA was formed in 2010 by childhood friends Landis and Etienne Maître. Felix and Etienne's different musical interests; punk rock and folk music for the former Vs. dancehall, reggae and electronica for the latter culminated in an interestingly unique musical style: LIPKA- a natural and intuitive fusion of the energetic empowerment of punk and folk music with the celebratory rhythms of dancehall and electronica.
