Since 2000, 2raumwohnung have been the German dance band & inventors of the creative symbiosis of pop&club culture: The Berlin based act is known for earwig radiohits like 36° as well as club tracks in collaboration with world famous DJs(Paul Kalkbrenner, DJ Koze, Westbam, Robot Koch, Solomun etc) 2raumwohnung is Inga Humpe&Tommi Eckart. With Humpe's past in the Neonbabies, DÖF and Humpe & Humpe with her sister, and Eckart’s projects from punk bands to dance productions, they found themselves drawing from a more colorful musical palette than genres would normally allow - and touched on something truly unique. To bring the focus on the pure music, they published their 1.song Wir trafen uns in einem Garten under the pseudonym 2raumwohnung. The track virtually escalated in the charts & likewise boomed out of clubs, radios & TVs. With its then highly innovative mix of electronic and acoustic sounds, their debut album Kommt zusammen caught the millennial zeitgeist perfectly! 2rmw went on doing their thing - very successfully: 8 albums&3 remix albums prove a story of constant creativity. Which led to everlasting hymns like Ich und Elaine, internationally celebrated remixes (Wir werden sehen) several award & chart successes (each album Top10 + 33 chartweeks for 36°), 3 gold discs, a mio. sold discs & gigs all over the world. And they keep reinventing:Their 1st double album Nacht und Tag features 10 unique songs, each in a dark clubby & light lounge-like version
