With the voice of a Disney princess and the lyrics of a Bipolar 23-year-old, LA native HARPER ALLEN is a compelling new indie-pop artist. Starting off strictly a songwriter, (Jillian) Harper Allen's work has already amassed over 35 million streams. From Nickelodeon theme songs (Side Hustle) to Netflix originals (Julie and the Phantoms), to the iTunes Top-10 country charts (Bryan Lanning), she is a genre-bending musician with a wealth of experience. Though she plans to continue writing for others, Jillian (Alias - Harper Allen) is finally focusing on her own story; crafting lyrics around her struggles with codependent love, Bipolar disorder, sexuality, and self-image. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Maisie Peters, Noah Cyrus, and Leanna Firestone, she has a gift for combining soft vocals and hard concepts throughout her music. Born in Minnesota, home in LA, Harper has been singing since birth and writing songs since 11. Now in her early 20s, she is a multi-instrumentalist, having spent too much time on stage to do much of anything else with her life. Harper Allen’s first single We’re Listening to TS is out now! Her second YOU (UR MOM) is out July 22. She is currently finishing her first EP and playing shows in the LA area.
