Gwil Sainsbury helped push alt-J into the mainstream, before opting to leave the Mercury Prize winning band in 2014. Since then, he's taken a back seat, looking at music in a fresh way and attempting to build something new from the ground up. LOOR represents the culmination of these efforts.
