backinhumanform is Joe Clarke. His artist name is taken from a line in an old James song. He is from the west of Ireland, but lives and performs in London. He was lead singer in Manchester band, Adventures of Salvador, for 3½ years. His debut album was recently released to positive reviews (Travellers' Tunes, Untitled Blog, Hot Press). Influences: Mazzy Star, Kate Bush, James, John Cale, Cocteau Twins, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
