The start of 2022 saw the release of the sixth Vantage Point album, the Purple/Whitesnake influenced On Target. This followed a plethora of single releases in 2021, including the Blaze Bayley fronted 24 Hours of Freedom, and the single 24 Hour Breakdown which included a solo from Derek Sherinian. Prior to this the Scottish band released two concept albums under the Demonic Dinner Dance moniker, which pulled from their thrash and metal influences as well as the hard rock side of the band demonstrated in the On Target album.
