Hailing from Belfast in the north of Ireland, Mortal Backlash bring a new sound to the thrash genre, with the intent of making a huge impact on the music world. Formed in 2018 by rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist Ethan Mackel, drummer Peter Fitzpatrick and lead guitarist Jack Mailey, their intention of making a mark on the metal scene began from day one. With the addition of bass player Ryan Wallace a year later, Mortal Backlash was finally complete, and they showed their ability to write complex riffs, pounding drums and powerful vocals with their debut single ‘Abandoned Commander’ released in January 2020. They recently released their debut EP ‘The Backlash of Thrash’ and are ready to gig once again.
