What happens when you mix some metal, with a spoonfull of steampunk, a dash of folk, and a whole bushel of bonkers? You get our psychocircus on stage! LOTM was formed in mid 2013 under the distinctive idea of creating a performance, that allowed all attendees to forget the real world, and travel to another, where magic, mysticism and adventure awaited them, even if just for the duration of a meager concert. ...And lo, the psychocircus, the Lies Of The Machine was formed. The band has been actively touring since the beginning of 2014, performing shows in several cities and festivals. LOTM has performed during Folk-Rock Maraton 2014, and has been invited to headline Eurosteamcon 2014 (HU), and Steamtropolis 2015 (GER) and Nemám Páru 2016 (CZ). LOTM has released it’s first album FREAKSHOW in August, 2016. The album received high praises from several foreign and domestic critics, reaching audiences from the US to Russia and Japan. In Hungary the troupe is now being seen as a lead influencer and organizer in the local steampunk community sparking impromtu costume cavalcades and steampunk-based supporting cultural events in whichever city they visit.
