Bryan Eckermann is an American musician, multi-instrumentalist, and producer based in San Antonio TX, USA. He is the founder, songwriter, lead guitarist of (Melodic Death Metal) bands Scars of the Flesh, and Wings of Abaddon, as well as the eponymous (Melodic Black/Death Metal) solo project under his own name in which he performs all instruments as well as vocals. Owner and producer at Bonespill Studios, graphic designer at The Art of Bryan Eckermann, as well as owner of independent label Bonespill Recordings. Having spent 20+ years as a musician, releasing independently 4 Wings of Abaddon albums, 2 Scars of the Flesh albums, and 7 solo albums previously. He has crafted his artistry with each release, perfecting a unique original take on the Melodic Death/Black metal genre. Molding the brutality, technicality and precision with mood, feeling and emotion, Often times incorporating symphonic elements as well as clean guitar and some softer sections. Growing in every category a DIY musician can has always been his goal, doing his own album productions, artworks, even video making, as well as releasing all his own albums independently, he has proved that indeed one man CAN do it all. Now in 2021, his 8th solo release is now here, "Plague Bringers", a part 2 to his 2018 album "Winters Plague (The Final Eclipse). Focusing on yet more alien themed material in this continued concept, this album showcases Bryan's absolute best songwriting and production to date.
