樂團界的達文西，華語音樂圈獨一無二的「乩童搖滾」！ 音樂上的怪誕發明家，結合嗩吶、二胡、鑼鼓、古琴、中國笛等傳統樂器，以西洋搖滾融合南北管、佛道、客家等元素，創造獨特的音樂曲風。用搖滾樂的批判精神與民俗文化交疊，以團名「神棍」營造出諷刺感十足的音樂態度。 成立於2006年，成團當年隨即獲得海洋音樂祭評審團大賞。後於2009年獲得YAMAHA熱門音樂大賽台灣區冠軍，同年發行首張專輯《萬佛朝宗》獲得各界好評，並入圍第一屆金音獎「最佳樂團」「最佳新人/團」兩項大獎。 2012年以〈九號公路〉入圍第三屆金音獎「最佳搖滾單曲」，同年11月發行第二張實驗性的專輯《神棍被電了》。除了台灣的各大音樂節，近年征戰韓國、紐澳與星馬地區，也參與臺北世大運閉幕、台北燈節開幕壓軸，更與音樂教父羅大佑於〈週三俱樂部〉合作演出；睽違6年發行作品《神一樣的存在》深受業界矚目，並獲選為中華音樂人協會辦理之「2019年度十大專輯」，更入圍2020年第31屆金曲獎「最佳樂團獎」。 Zenkwun founded in 2006 who is a unique Mandarin rock band from Taiwan. In 2006, Zenkwun won the Jury prize of Ho-hai-yan Festival in Taiwan in the meantime. In 2009, Zenkwun won the championship of Taiwan YAMAHA Asian Beat and published our first album《Wan Fo Chao Zong》which was nominated “Best Band” and “Best New Artist” by 2010 Golden Indie Music Awards. In 2012, Zenkwun's Hakka rock song《Highway nine》was nominated “ Best Rock Single” by 2012 Golden Indie Music Awards. In 2019, Zenkwun third album《Exited like God》was nominated “Best Band” by 2020 Golden Melody Awards. Zenkwun were also awarded Top 10 Album of 2019 by The Association of music workers in Taiwan. Zenkwun is an only Mandarin rock band which combine different elements, such as western rock, Buddhism, Taoism, Nankuan, Peikuan (Chinese traditional music), Hakka, Mongolian, Chinese traditional instruments and multiple ethnic style in our music. Nowadays, becoming a unique rock band in Taiwan is our goal and we intend to lead our trend and music style all over the world.
