Dæmon Lost results from combining two styles that inspire passion among its members: metal music and symphonic music. The band was founded in 2009 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, by guitarist and composer Martin Boianelli and singer Ludmila Disa. The band explores different metal sub-genres, reaching a distinctive and unusual fusion of female leading vocals, symphonic arrangements and metalcore and melodic-deathmetal drums and riffs. In 2011 Dæmon Lost released their first EP, “Before Dusk”. In 2015 they released their LP studio album called When Violence Is Your Guide, a conceptual record about violence in Humanity and the struggle between Light and Darkness. Recorded, mixed and mastered at "La Nave de Oseberg” studios. This 11 track album, with english lyrics, is full of kick-ass metal and includes epic choirs, instrumental moments, astonishing guitars and a female voice that ranges from lyrical to pop/rock style and contrasts greatly with the blasting male growling vocals. Combining these features with the most extreme Metal, Dæmon Lost proves to be an interesting band for the national scene and the genre worldwide.
