Championing a new era of female-led hard rock and metal, Michigan-based Upon Wings continue to stand apart with their unique, operatic rock style. The Detroit-based band has achieved airplay on SiriusXM Octane and beyond with "Afterlife" and "You Are My Weapon," and they have also been featured on Loudwire's Weekly Wire Spotify playlist and Slipknot's Knotfest "New Flesh" playlist. Upon Wings' summer 2022 single, "Last Love," features mixing/mastering by the talented Skidd Mills (Saving Abel, Pop Evil) and drums from Pepe Clarke Magaña of heavy metal titans Kyng. "Last Love" is about that feeling that you've missed out on your one chance for true love," vocalist Annè Autumn Erickson says. In 2021, Upon Wings released "Eternal Way," featuring the incredible Ralf Scheepers of Primal Fear and Gamma Ray, as well as Falling in Reverse touring guitarist Max Georgiev. Erickson released a new single, "Scars," in February 2022, and the track mixes classic pop conventions with new trends and a slight rock edge. Soli Deo gloria!
