Биография

Dymna Lotva was founded by composer Jauhien Charkasau and vocalist Ekaterina "Nokt" Mankevich on October 8, 2015. The band plays at the junction of the genres of doom and post black metal, sometimes combining them with elements of dsbm and folk. On April 26, 2016, the studio project debuted with the single "A Solitary Human Voice". The text is based on excerpts from the monologue of Lyudmila Ignatenko, which begins the book by Svetlana Aleksievich "The Chernobyl Prayer". In the autumn of the same year, the first full-length album "The Land of the Black Wings: Swamp" was released on the German label Der Neue Weg. Soon the album was presented live, after which an active concert activity began. In August 2017, a thirty-minute EP "Palyn" was released, dedicated to the elimination of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster. The CDs were released again on Der Neue Weg, and one of the tracks featured David “Graf”, vocalist of dsbm formation Psychonaut 4. For five years of performances, Dymna Lotva played at club and open air festivals in Belarus, Russia, Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine; shared the stage with Cradle of Filth, Tiamat, Nokturnal Mortum, Devilish Impressions, 1914 and many others.
