Moon Pool was a dreampop duo comprised of high schoolers Hafiz Nazhri and Aman Sidhu. The band made dreamy, reverb-soaked indie pop, with an almost diaristic approach to songwriting. 
 Formed in 2018, the band was inspired by Brooklyn dreampop acts such as DIIV, Beach Fossils, and Wild Nothing. The band also looks retrospectively for influences in indie and shoegaze acts such as The Smiths, The Sundays, Pale Saints, and Cocteau Twins.
