Having created the biggest Danish radio hit and one of the biggest streaming hits of 2019, Danish producer Vera has opened a new chapter in his already impressive career. With focus on creating unique singles with various artists, Vera is opening up his studio to Danish and international artists to form a new project where each artist has the opportunity to show different sides of their creativity within the ‘Vera space’. The first collaboration single was featuring Danish rising star Jada, which was followed up by 'Only Kisses' with Liss and now 'Whiplash' with Scarlet Pleasure. With the hit single ‘Paris’ with Danish singer Lord Siva, Vera consolidated his position in 2019 as one of the most talented and interesting names on the Danish music scene. ‘Paris’ quickly landed the #1 position on the Danish Spotify Top 50 and is now certified double platinum. The single also reached the top of the Danish airplay chart and was nominated for a Danish Grammy (DMA) for ‘Best Streaming Act’. Vera has since been nominated for Producer of the Year (Oh My God) and Album of the Year (Lord Siva & Vera EP). 'Paris' was the highest earning song in 2020 in Denmark by a Danish artist. Vera is the nom du plume of Copenhagen’s William Asingh. Vera’s long-standing production work for the likes of city peers Off Bloom, LISS, and MØ makes him the producer of choice for everything exciting and emerging from Copenhagen’s music scene today.
