In terms of sound, Champion DI has been inspired by different artists across urban genres such as Gunna, Maverick Sabre, Bru-C, PartyNextDoor and Drake. His music has seen early support from tastemakers at BBC Radio 1, Capital Xtra and Kiss.
 Melodic-driven and raw, emotive verses over hard hitting DnB has been formed in a new wave for Champion. His latest single with Mollie Collins has opened a new path of sound for originally based hip hop artists over jumpy drum and bass, which is fast paced becoming hot on the scene in the UK. 
From an age as early as ten years old, DI has long been enveloped in a desire to express himself musically. Little did he know back then that a sound inspired by the likes of A Tribe Called Quest and other Hip-Hop groups would lead him to what sound he is forming today.
