Born and raised in Accra, Ghana, OBj’s stylistic approach to music in general and rap in particular makes it safe to say he is an anomaly. Whether it’s hard-hitting punchlines, slithery slick-talking, world-class wordplay, relatability, rawness, self-reflective storytelling, vivid lyricism or captivating flows and melodies, OBj has it all. He predominantly fuses pure emceeing with trap while flexing his singing muscle on records like Hate Me 2, released in July 2023. He released his debut EP titled No Vex in November 2021. This was followed by a tape titled OBjSZN in July 2022, with the only features as fellow heavy hitters in the scene, Jaleel Thomas and FJace. With no intentions of slowing down, OBj, in association with PIONEARZ MUSIC, is set to take the world by storm. Enjoy, and stay tuned.
