Биография

Rick is half American and half Norwegian. Or if you will, Rick is US Indie-rock steel cut, out in the Norwegian fields. An Oslo-Lucky Luke. Teamed up with producer Mikhael Paskalev, Groves sound is hip but mature, rugged but soft, pick up truck but electric bicycle, and heartbreaking but still charming. Just like the man himself. After a healthy amount of time working as guitarslinger for different bands, he took a step forward with his backpocket full of songs, a new name and nothing to loose. In 2022 he released his debut single Gun in june and Reptile in august, and was invited to play the norwegian showcasefestivals: By:larm, Vill Vill Vest and Trondheim Calling. In Bergen, GAFFA wrote the following words: "The riffing, the cheeky turns and the guitar solos are of the kind that make the only coping mechanism is to put on the widest grin available in the drawer. When the concert is over, after what feels like 30 very fast minutes, there is only one thought that goes through your head: Damn it, we want more!"
