Music of Theodor Bastard band, who were at the origin of the World Music genre in Russia, is imbued with shamanism and magic. This is more than a song, it is a stream of unusual rhythms and melodies with a slight, barely perceptible tint of trip-hop and ethnic, it is a special dusk kind of music from the heart of the world. Theodor Bastard musicians seamlessly combine traditional instruments and electronics with a plethora of different ethnic and exotic instruments. And all this mystical richness is crowned with a beautiful voice of the vocalist Yana Veva - boundless, filled with the lightest aether. Theodor Bastard has received two prestigious music awards: "Golden Gargoyle" as the best band in the World Music genre in Russia, and "Russian World Music Awards" for the contribution to the development of ethno-music. The band is actively exploring virtual worlds of video games. Theodor Bastard has released soundtracks for the Pathologic 2 and the Life is Feudal: MMO.
