He's a violinist, composer, producer and also employs a wide array of instruments whose names are pretty much unpronounceable for non-experts; however, Pajwan is a musical expert. He started out playing the violin, progressed to piano and ended up specializing in Iranian instruments which are quite well-tempered, one of the main characteristics of his distinct productions. Having said that, the main focus is his beloved violin, used and abused not only for his own good, but also for the sake of other artists’ music both in the studio, as well as, in a live setting. Performing and playing live is his way of expression, yet composing reveals the true soul of the man known as Paji – the man who never gets tired of writing and creating new music. It was quite a sound decision for Paji to move from Aachen, Germany to Berlin in 2018 and to create an electronic music-based album for the Berlin-based label Katermukke. Berlin is a place where cheerfulness and madness can be found side by side. An inspiring tension in which one immerses only to retreat hours later, inspired to create. Paji himself uses the expression „beyond borders“ to describe the results of this creative process.
