Биография
Hailing from Blackpool, U.K., delinquents Natan Day (vocals, guitar) and Davey Williams (bass) formed Darlia while working as cleaners at the high school they had just attended. Day and Williams worked their way through drummers. However, once a record deal was on the horizon, the band drafted long time school friend Jack Bentham into the band. Their first release, 2013's Knock Knock EP, earned the trio praise across the board. The group issued their second EP, Candyman, at the beginning of 2014, with the lead track becoming Zane Lowe's Hottest Record on his BBC Radio 1 show. The trio headed out to tour the U.K. -- with dates at all the major festivals including Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, and T in the Park -- while the singles "Dear Diary" and "Stars Are Aligned" also appeared that year. Darlia headed into the studio to record a mini album at the end of 2014, and the resulting Petals was released in February 2015. After touring Australia, Germany, Japan, the band underwent another line up change - a new drummer, and a lead guitarist - Micko Larkin of Courtney Love, often described by Day as a “guitar wizard”. The band met Larkin to produce an EP, however he quickly joined the band.
