Биография
After releasing their debut record, Together Alone (Dropping Gems, 2015), Ghost Feet decided to shelve the project to focus on their respective solo projects. The duo later reconvened at a Portland studio during the pandemic to build on a sound The FADER once called “...the audio equivalent of dappled sunlight, winking and blinking through the shade”. During those initial studio sessions of live instrumentation, Ghost Feet added lead vocalist Jess Branch, who records and produces as Erina. The trio leapt into the creative unknown by embracing the experimental sonic textures of 4AD Records over programmed electronics. What resulted from those sessions was the new single, It Disappeared. Rejecting a return to form, their newest single is soaked in rich guitar textures carried by cinematic melodies elevated by the silkiness of Jess’s ethereal voice. Ghost Feet is Nuri Erdal, Rachel Dubuc, and Jess Branch based in Portland, Oregon by way of Olympia, Washington. They have released a series of EPs and the full-length Together Alone on Dropping Gems. Their music has been featured in XL8R, VICE, Impose Magazine, The FADER, Earmilk, and other music publications. It Disappeared is Ghost Feet’s first release as a three piece and they anticipate releasing an EP in the fall.
