Биография

Recipient of the Curtis Mayfield Scholarship Award for 2021, courtesy of The Songwriters Hall of Fame - Recording artist, Music Producer and Painter, from Philadelphia, PA, Lester London, has journeyed far in search of a more meaningful way of life and faith. At age 11 he began teaching himself the piano, then wrote, produced, and engineered his first track (with vocals by his mother on the chorus), and his innate love for music has been developing ever since. 
 His talent has earned him the attention of recording artist Busta Rhymes, and a recording/production contract with Grammy award-winning music producer Jerry ‘Wonda’ Duplessis in 2011. He's been able to work alongside artists like Joey Badass, Ryan Leslie, Miguel, Raekwon, Sean Price, Emmy-winning actor Jharrel Jerome, Loaded Lux, LL Cool J, Consequence & more. 
 Lester has performed at countless talent shows like Showtime At The Apollo at age 11. He’s opened for recording artists like Jadakiss for several dates on his Top 5 Dead Or Alive tour, Too $hort, Consequence, Kendrick Lamar, and viral Brass-House band Too Many Zooz. Lester has also performed at showcases and music festivals; being selected for A3C three times and BET’s Music Matters twice; headlining once, and once beside fellow Philly native Chill Moody. He has also performed and spoken to and for students at the prestigious Penn State University, Hudson County college, and Rutgers University.
